Our Morayfield Centre

This centre is made up of 6 rooms & caters for children from 6 wks – 5 yrs.

Our Morayfield centre offers an exciting, challenging and intriguing learning environment. Its uniqueness lies in the genuine sense of community between our families, educators and children. Families often ‘stay and play’, outside hours events are well attended and our educators become part of your extended family.  Our animals (including sheep, guinea pigs, budgies, chickens and ducks) add another element of engagement and difference at this centre.  If you want your child to come home dirty every day, with a story of their explorations – Morayfield is the centre for you!

Our Morayfield Rooms

Junior & Senior Nursery

6 weeks – 15 months

12 months – 2 years

Our Nursery is designed to ensure that all aspects of the development of infants is accommodated and encouraged. We have a separate sleep room, which allows individual child/family routines to be respected and followed. Children are offered age and developmentally appropriate stimulation and activities, and are encouraged to explore, engage, experience and communicate – as only infants can! Our babies are treated with care, love and respect, and as capable and communicative people.

Toddler 1 & Toddler 2

15 months – 2 years

2 – 3 years

The spaces in our toddler environment are designed to encourage the children to explore, discover, create and imagine through a play-based curriculum. The setting and program is vibrant and flexible and responsive to the interests and abilities of each child. Learning options include puzzles, literacy and numeracy activities, construction activities, creative arts, music and pretend play set-ups.

Pre Kinder

3 – 4 years

Pre-Kindy children are further developing their language skills, often developing specific interests in activities that engage them for longer periods of time – with increasing complexity. Mathematical reasoning concepts are explored through science and cooking experiences. Language skills and relationship building skills are enhanced through conversations and reflection as groups and one on one. Physical skills are developed through complex challenges and opportunities to take risk. The capabilities of 3 – 4 year olds are amazing, and our team ensure occasions to discover more are consistently provided.

(Pre-prep) 4 – 5 years

We are proud to offer a Queensland Kindergarten Program at our Centre. Our Kindergarten program is led by a qualified Bachelor qualified Early Childhood Teacher who delivers a program grounded in the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline. “School readiness” is primarily ensuring your child is emotionally, physically and socially ready to embark upon the next, more formal, stage of their educational ‘career’. The opportunities for learning will focus on further building confidence and abilities – verbally, emotionally, cognitively, physically and socially.
