The ROSE Way
About The ROSE Way
The team of Educators at Nurture Early Education utilise The ROSE Way framework to plan, document and capture meaningful learning and discoveries about children. Your child will be part of an insightful educational program based around current research, Early Childhood theory and the most up to date quality practices.
The framework
The framework and documentation will offer you genuine insight into the learning occurring for children, and offer opportunities for you to have input into our curriculums, through regular discussions, one on one meetings, access to learning via our online platform and information sessions.

Sharing of information
Below is an outline of what to expect from the information you will receive, and how frequently this will occur. This information includes an in-depth and relevant analysis, to support and showcase the deeper learning that is occurring within the centre.
Daily
You will receive daily photos of that day’s occurrences via Storypark, alongside daily verbal communication about how your child has participated in the curriculum.
Weekly
Each Friday you will receive notification of the following week’s focus, including the specific strategies that have been planned by the Educators. You will also receive a learning story on Storypark consolidating the week’s findings and discoveries and discussing what has been noticed in the children’s learning and development.
Each Term
At the end of each term, you will receive an e-Book of learning. This document will be a compilation of the entire term’s learning, including a deep analysis of the children’s development over this time.
Bi-Annual
Summative assessments will be provided to you twice a year (May and November), giving you a summary of how your child is progressing towards the learning outcome outlined in the Early Years Learning Framework. Upon receiving this, you will also be invited to have a one on one, face to face meeting with your child’s Educator, providing you with the opportunity to discuss their development in greater detail. Note: This will be a “Transition Statement” at the end of year for Kindergarten children commencing prep the following year.
Displays
Learning displays will be visible around the classrooms for your perusal, including things like work samples (drawings, painting, clay models etc.). Any work samples will of course be provided to you at the end of term or as requested.
